The Project/Program Manager Service focus is on small to mid-size companies who don't have dedicated internal resources to manage projects/programs. Many times projects are managed by operations staff who have limited capacity and knowledge to manage projects successfully. And there is limited project disciplines and process to enable an individual who is playing the role of a project manager.
This service includes a highly qualified, certified, Project/Program Manager using a turnkey set of processes and tools to manage your project/program to success. Project measures are clearly defined, so there is no ambiguity regarding what will be delivered. Typically, the key project phases and steps listed below are followed and the applicable artifacts used. The phase steps and artifact requirements are dependent on the project sizing- small, medium, large, which is determined as part of the initial assessment of the project. This table with agreed steps and artifacts will be included in the contract agreement. A project workbook will be created with all the steps and artifacts documented at the initial project owner/sponsor meeting.
If required, client processes and artifacts will be used.
Measures of Success
Following are representative examples of project measures, which will be agreed to at contract signing.
Note: These are project measures, not benefits achieved from the project, like increase in sales. Business operations should have accountability over those measures, which would be included in the Business Case.
