I am a published novelist (Choices: Kensington), who has written for Broad Street Review since 2008 and recently began blogging for Huffington Post. I earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Juilliard, which required not only discipline, efficiency, and attention to detail, but also that I complete a dissertation based on my research. I read actively and eclectically, with interests in topics including sports, psychology, politics, fashion, religion, music, film, pop culture, and current events. In addition, my experience as a college professor and music director has given me insight into motivational speaking, and thus, writing. Finally, my busy lifestyle has taught me work quickly and efficiently, with an emphasis on excellence.
