Skilled data analyst assists with nonlinear model fitting to measurements, enhancing the understanding of relationships between the variables present in the data and the parameters present in the model.

It is expected that the employer discloses at least one data run and one model, however, an appropriate model can be researched if a representative set of data runs is available.
If the disclosed model fits the data, a price will be proposed on the basis of a low-resolution plot of part of the fit.
If the disclosed model needs improvement, this will be communicated to the employer. Sometimes all it takes is a specific set of parameter values with well-defined ranges. Perhaps, adding a single parameter allows the model to fit the data.
If the employer's goal is a model (and not just the parameter values) then an initial analysis of the representative set of data must be contracted in advance. Often there are symmetries in the data that indicate the kinds of models that can be used.
Most types of models can be handled since both GNUPLOT and NetLogo are used together to evaluate analytical, differential, variational, integro-differential, fractional, algorithmic and/or agent-based models.
