Fit models to data

Science is the practice of matching theories with reality. This is done fitting models to experimental data. I have been doing this for the last thirty years. Meanwhile I got a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, registered three patents, and developed the FeatPost software. All this was done using exclusively Free Software.
