I received my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Fairfield University with an emphasis in fiction in July 2012. My work can be found in The Huffington Post, HelloGiggles, The Montreal Review, Poetry Quarterly, Midwest Literary Magazine, Haiku Journal, Spry Literary Magazine, and Now What? The Creative Writer’s Guide to Success After the MFA. I served as Fiction Co-Editor for Mason’s Road Literary Journal and am currently an editorial reader for Spry Literary Journal. My first novel is currently under representation with a literary agent and I am working on a second novel. As a freelance writer and editor, I have worked for a variety of companies including XYZ Media, TravelShark, Level3 Media, Edubook. I also work on projects for individuals, including editorial work of all levels for papers, theses, and novels. I have SEO experience and I take great pride in my diverse style, and my ability to write on a number of subjects. I have a passion for education and have worked with all age groups as a tutor and mentor both in a variety of programs and on an individualized basis. I am especially passionate about working with students to help improve their written communication and literacy skills. I also have a special passion for non-profit work.
