1. Prior art search is one of the most critical aspect of patent filing. If an invention is already anticipated based on published prior art, getting a patent for the same will be very difficult and not advisable as the validity of the same can be challenged any time during the term of the patent. 2. Prior art is searched on Google patent, WIPO and other non-paid databases. 3. Published literature/research articles will also be searched during prior art search.
