I have a Master's in military history that produced a published thesis. The research needed for that book along with other works that I have done assisted in my gaining the initial knowledge on how to do proper research. I have also worked in numerous fields that required or transformed into requiring research to be performed.


While I tend to research more historical, I have and will research current events, validity of stories, court cases, business plans, property records, patents, trademarks. If you name it, I can research it.


I have spent over 10,000 hours researching everything from downed planes in World War II to High Schools in Australia to patent searches.


One of the last projects I did was finding the maiden name of a deceased individual's mother who moved to the United States in 1907. Not only was I able to find her information but I was able to track the citizenship and transportation records back to when her family came into Canada from Germany in the 1880s. The family was overjoyed that I was able to find something that previous hired researchers could not, and that I provided more than what they asked without charging more.
