As a trained proofreader, I have more than 25 years experience in all manner of written material - books, sales campaigns, reports, manuals, correspondence, resumes, etc. For costing purposes, I estimate that on an average proofreading job, I would read between 7-10 pages per hour, assuming 250 words per page. Most of my proofreading is done in Word, using the Track Changes / Comments function.
