I have competed a screenwriting course at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School in Sydney and further courses with the late Billy Marshall Stoneking.. My short film A DIFFICULT PATIENT (DirTony Chu) was shot in Sydney in 2009 and exhibited in the Short Film Corner at Cannes In 2010 my feature film GABLE FIVE (adapted from my own novel of the same name) was a finalist in the screenplay competition at the Dungog International Film Festival. At the same competition, my screenplay JAKE'S LUCK was a semifinalist. This was another adaptation of my own work--from my 1994 Novel published by Allen and Unwin. I am qualified to help with that essential skill of formatting, and other matters, like the 3-act structure, inciting incident and character arc.
