It looks as though my experience writing speeches for a range of clients, subjects, lengths and purposes could be a perfect fir. The purpose of speeches is, of course, to inform, persuade, charm, connote authority and, usually, call to action. They must convey integrity and conviction. They must relate directly to the audience and the needs and interests of the audience of every sort: colleagues, students, prospective customers, current supporters and staff. Clients (and employers) for whom I have written speeches include the presidents of major universities, a community college, a national politician, a business preparing for an APO and the manager of a big-city television station. I am known, I believe, the ability to find the precisely appropriate voice and style of the speaker, conduct research and am especially known for the use of humor -- but only when appropriate. I work quickly and collaboratively.
