I am familiar with the rhetorical devices used in persuasive speaking and writing, and for many years adjudicated in senior high school debates. These I have found to be, in general, far superior to most speeches produced by politicians. I find it sad that (former) Australian Prime Minister's 'Redfern Speech' was in reality the work of his speechwriter. This has been well-known for many years. If you would like me to ghost-write a speech for you in any context, I will be more than happy to write it for you. I once won a public-speaking contest (as an adult), but the text of that was discarded in the 1970s.
