The Applicant is a strong systems person who has successfully designed, implemented, improved, maintained and audited ISO Management systems in various international and locally based companies. These include ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 as well as the auditing thereof. The applicant has over 10 years Environmental, Health and Safety Manager experience and experience as a Senior Manager of internationally recognised manufacturing companies. These companies range from small entities (less than 12 persons) to large, stock exchange listed companies that include Huntsman Tioxide (Pigments manufacturer) - now Venator, Delta EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide Manufacturing), Rand Refinery (Gold Refining) to Industrial Cleaning entities and Glass manufacturing. The Applicant comes highly recommended based on thorough and meticulous attention to detail to ensure simple integration into the day-to-day running of a company. The Applicant is proud to state that this methodology has been extremely beneficial to ensure that certification is gained without any major findings and that liaison with certification bodies has been most positive. The Applicant has designed and led training sessions on the implementation and auditing of ISO systems, both in-house and as an external trainer and auditor. Shop floor simplification of the requirements of the standards has led in many cases, to operators and even cleaners, prompting certification and surveillance auditors to what should be looked at.
