My objective as a member of guru is to fulfill a life-long aspiration to succeed as a freelance writer. My passion for journalism enables me to produce primarily short works of a variety of genres and styles. Although my personal forte remains short stories, the majority of which are most accurately defined as creative nonfiction- personal experiences depicted from a humorous yet emotionally provocative perspective that effectively attracts readers of all interests by utilizing literary techniques and content that engage and maintain the attention of the audience, regardless of factors that would typically appear to exist outside of said reader's more familiar topics. My present goal is to establish myself as a hardworking, talented, knowledgeable contribution to the journalistic community, on account of my inherent ability to consistently compose quality articles that adhere to each project/assignments required criteria. This includes but is not limited to short stories/essays, book reviews/reports, speeches, blogs, content description, editing, grant writing, etc. I would be remiss if i neglected to acknowledge my inexperience with web-based freelancing, but am more than confident in my ability to successfully submit compositions of the highest quality regardless of assignment caliber. I can assure you that I am more than capable of completing projects that would seem more fitting for a journalist who boasts experience that exceeds my meager portfolio. However, I have no doubt my level of proficiency rivals even the most seasoned freelancer. Frankly, I welcome the challenge. Perhaps the single, most necessary resource I require at this point is the simple opportunity to prove that my undeniable understanding of the English language enables me to comprise articles that I assure you, will not disappoint. Although, as previously stated, my expertise lies mostly in shorter works, I welcome projects that are certain to consume a significant amount of time, dedication, and ultimately energy. I am no stranger to research and to be entirely honest, rather enjoy the tedious yet rewarding process of a research based projects. In conjunction with my great appreciation for literature, book summaries, reports, and reviews fall well within my capabilities.
