My background in education gives me a unique insight into the nature of writing.  Not only can this help me in editing others' composition, but it also creates a platform on which I can express myself and help to convey the messages of those who hire me.  Each student needs an educational message to be delivered in a way that he or she understands.  It requires an empathetic approach in dealing with others for the sole purpose of helping him or her grow. 

Working in home sales has also aided me in learning how to differentiate messaging from one audience member to another. My social personality and outgoing nature seems to put others at ease, and when they reveal themselves, I'm able to direct them in a very particular manner.  

My Bachelor's degree in English and Minor in Writing not only enabled me to learn from high-quality professors but also to master grammar, punctuation, and syntax.  I went on to attain a Master's of Arts in Liberal Studies at the University of Denver, where my passion for communication grew and developed into something even more profound.  

Ultimately, writing has always been and will always be a passion of mine, as I see it to be a quintessential part of a functioning society.  I am hopeful that I get the opportunity to write on behalf of others as well.
