I specialize in researching and writing content about English and literature, health, fitness, women's and gender issues, relationships, spirituality/religion, and genealogy. My academic areas of focus include: Shakespeare, Early Modern and Romantic British literature, and Elizabethan pop culture. I have presented at several academic conferences (including the Blackfriars Conference and the Wooden O Symposium) and have academic publishing credits as well. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and teach university-level English and composition. I'm a former fiction editor for Thin Air Literary Magazine and have served on staff for Thin Air and also Warp&Weave, a journal of speculative fiction. I'm a published shor-story author and a novelist. I write paranormal fantasy, creative non-fiction, and poetry. I have also been a family history consultant and researcher for over a decade.
