The Right Words -- right now.

I have an MFA in Creative Writing from Northern Arizona University, and a BA in English -- Creative Writing from Utah Valley University (where I was the English and Literature Department's Most Outstanding Student in 2011). I currently teach English at UVU and love working with my students so they can use language and composition to make a difference in the world.

I love speculative fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy, but am also a longtime theater person and Shakespeare nerd; the interplay between page and stage, particularly in a historical context, is utterly fascinating. That said, I write all kinds of things, from academic papers to health and fitness articles to web content, blogs, and family history reports. I also edit and proofread.

Work Terms

I am currently available 10-20 hours per week; If we work together, I'll typically ask for a portion of the agreed price in order to begin work. We'll communicate frequently and I'll send you regular updates as well as outlines, rough drafts, and a final version of the product for your approval. I prefer fixed-price projects.
