I am a Certified Integrative Yoga Teacher and certified in Kum Nye (Tibetan Yoga).I specialize in these meditations: Yoga Nidra, Cleansing Breath Meditation and Mantra Meditation. "Yoga Nidra" a guided meditation where I guide one with my voice and with sound/chants while a person is lying in a comfortable prostrate position. It is a meditation practice where people can access deep relaxation and healing, enhance learning processes, gain insight into problems, harmonize the deeper unconscious and awaken inner potential, and set personal intentions.This tantric practice was introduced to the modern age by India born, Swami Satyananda Saraswati. "Cleansing Breath Meditation" is a breath and visualization practice done in a seated meditation position upon a meditation cushion. In this guided meditation I lead the person through a series of cleansing thought and breath practices, as taught by Tibetan born, Tarthang Tulku Rinpoche of the Kum Nye tradition which originates from the ancient Buddhist Vinaya and Tibetan medical texts. "Mantra Meditation" which is excellent for active minds that have difficulty focusing and "letting go", and for invoking energies and/or calming or stimulating the mind/spirit/body depending on the mantra.This is a seated meditation involving sound vibrations, "mudra" hand gestures, and often incorporates visualizations. With use of "japa malas" I guide the practitioner through the chanting of a round of 108 repetitions of a selected mantra and mudra appropriate for the person and their aims, with before and after silent centering meditation.
