8 years in Content Management and SEO, 6 years in Project Management, 6 years in Editorial Planning and Sales Funnel, 4 years in Social Media Marketing
I have experience in planning, conceptualizing, and developing various types of campaigns from scratch. Most notably for the following:
For Twitter, I've managed @shanejjames with 120,000 followers at the time of my handling it. For this account I have also been a part of reaching out to other influencers as well as non-profit organizations back when Actions of Compassion is just getting started.
For Facebook, I've managed the Cute N' Country page (1.7 million followers) as well as 20 other supplementary accounts (highest fan count 500,000 and lowest fan count 19,000) in connection to the brand. We've used the supplementary accounts as vehicles for the Cute N' Country website's organic promotion and exposure. Aside from promoting the merchandise, I've started posting blog material. It resulted to a spike in traffic and sales within the first three weeks.
Beyond social media management for a minimum of 120,000 fans/followers, I also have multiple exposure on advertorial campaign runs. I worked at the Ad Design as well as Marketing Solutions Divisions of Jewish Link Publishing based in New York/New Jersey. Most recently, I have headed my own Creatives Division at Pasadena Now based in Pasadena, California. Both called for handling and collaboration on advertising ideas with regular advertisers for six different community papers--five for Jewish Link and one for Pasadena Now, combining for a monthly readership north of 250,000.
These experiences taught me the value of prioritizing tasks in environments that are frenetic and demand high attention to detail.
Most importantly, serving as Creative Director has put every content piece and vehicle in context for me; I outline how they are made, how they are perceived, and where they are placed as parts of a cohesive and effective marketing plan for the publications and for the advertisers as well.
Work Terms
Can work client's local business hours, weekly pay for the first six weeks with client covering transfer fees. I'm a visual person and so I prefer written/video instructions/overview but would not mind voice calls for meetings as well.
