My name is Alston, I was born on a snowy day in New York. As a child, I was seen to be expressive and imaginative in my storytelling. I would pick up a pencil or paintbrush to create things from the top of my head or look at things. I used art as an outlet to express myself and the world surrounding me.
I went on to study Studio Art specializing in drawing and painting and Literature where I earned my degree qualifications in the Fine Arts.
At the same time pursuing my degree I was working in various positions that gave me years of expertise in administrative assistance and assisting in creating marketing materials for small businesses. It gave me an outlet to expand my knowledge to combine my art skills for entrepreneurial needs.
As time changed, I wanted to take a step back and refocus on my priorities, I decided to change my path and focus back on my passion why I love creating art, and I began to enhance my career development by expanding to digital art.
Additional Experience:
As a creative and resourceful professional, I spent seven years working in a university setting as a Coordinator and nine years working with other small businesses as a Project Manager. I have delivered solutions through project management, administrative, and artistic design.
