With my M.A. in Communication Theory and Research and a minor in Creative Writing, I started out well-equipped to work in the field. I enjoy marketing, as well as copy editing and writing. I have reviewed everything from social media content to blog posts to academic journal articles up for publication. I am open to all creative projects. Let's create something together!

Work Terms

Process:

Quote – Generally, any work is charged by the hour unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties in writing. Rates are within industry standards. A quote will be provided, but may fluctuate dependent upon requests before a contract is finalized.

Sample Edit/Copy – An initial sample can be requested, free of charge, to determine compatibility of my services and what you are looking for. Feel free to add recommendations/requests.

Proposal – After the initial sample edit/copy, specific services are outlined that will enhance or improve the quality of the content and/or project idea, depending on its needs.

Contract – Once editing/writing style is agreed upon, and both parties wish to move forward, a contract will be delivered (generally via email). Once both parties have signed the contract, and the content files/requests for copy are delivered, we can begin the editorial work.

Work & Wrap-up – Depending on the type of services required, a detailed editorial letter or comprehensive analysis at the completion of the project may be included, as well as a thorough style sheet for authors and publishers.

Payment:

An estimated 50 percent of payment is due at the start of editing. The balance will be due upon completion of the project.

I accept payment by check, Paypal, or any form otherwise agreed upon in writing between both parties.

All requested services and payment will be subject to change at the discretion of client and myself and will be outlined in the contract when ready to sign.
