Only the best is good enough

I am a former university professor and have extensive experience editing and proofreading student essays, research papers and theses. I also have knowledge of the various citation styles used for academic papers.
I also do general book or document editing because of my excellent grasp of the English language and the mechanics of grammar and style. As a freelancer for the past three years, I have edited six full-length books- fiction and non-fiction.
I am also an expert on children's literature and books because I taught such a course for over 30 years, so I have an excellent grasp of what makes a good book from a literary point of view as well as from that of the readers based on their age group, reading interests and vocabulary levels.
I am also a published children's writer and since I have become a freelance writer 3 years ago - I have written over 150 short stories for children for clients from all over the world. I have also edited over 100 such books. and I have served as an occasional editor for a local publishing company.
My hobbies are reading, creative writing and playing word games like Scrabble.
Whatever I do, I always aim to do the best.
I write and edit Christian books, blogs, articles, devotionals, workbooks and stories for adults and children.

Work Terms

I am available for work from Sunday to Friday as I usually take Saturday off. The turn around time for a job will depend on its length, the complexity of the editing/proofreading required and the speed with which the job needs to be done. Express service will attract an extra charge to be discussed with client. I prefer to receive documents for working on in Word document format as I do my editing using Word Track Changes. I also prefer to charge for editing/proofreading and writing short stories for children based on the number of words, rather than by the hour..
