I am an IT professional, dedicated to software engineering and minimalistic web programming. I also provide translation services between Spanish, English and Japanese, in that order.
Based in Mexico City, I have worked for companies like Telvista, Accenture and Compucom, in major campaigns such as Intel, First Group America, Greyhound, Verizon, AT&T, Audi, Winn-Dixie, and have also worked for national companies in the helpdesk/tech support department since 2006. My last work experience ended in October 2015, providing Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support over many telecommunication channels (telephone, chat, remote, VPN, etc). I have also translated confidential (as in company-owned) documents from English to Spanish and viceversa. I aim to build work experience using Japanese as the main communication language.
Work Terms
I feel comfortable working from 2 hours up to 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday fits best my university schedule, but I have full availability during vacation time (mid-summer and winter).
I'm used to massive office environments, I perfectly understand how valuable time is for a company and its clients and customers. ITIL, TIA and some ISO standards that apply to IT companies are what I have learned in school and work, and some companies have provided me with courses that prepare their employees to new software technologies, mainly Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS operative systems and specialized applications.
