I will help new Hotel Managers become great and effective leaders.
I went from one cooking job to another for years, things were always stressful and the work was not appreciated. One day I for the first time in my life walked out of the kitchen and quit with no notice, I promised myself then and there that I would never allow myself to be in such a position of burnout again. Shortly after I was hired into the Hotel Industry as a receptionist, learning many things about customer service and hospitality, I found that I was excelling at my job and shortly moved up to running the night audit, then after that finding myself as a front office manager. At every step I tried to take in everything I could oftentimes going far outside of my job to understand several other aspects of the hotel industry. With this knowledge I also discovered that many people in the hotel industry are unfortunately less equipped to handle their jobs than I was despite having years on me in the industry. This scared me because I for the longest time felt that I was drowning in my work and completely unable to handle my new management responsibilities, I could only imagine what other hotel managers were going through, I want to help people move up in the hotel Industry & I don't think it has to be as stressful as it currently is for many aspiring professionals.
