I like to think of myself as a Jane of all trades. I love to learn new skills, and the unlimited knowledge available today has made it possible for me to acquire skills that I never knew existed. My biggest pet peeve is someone saying "I don't know." I believe if you don't know something, it's only because you are to lazy to find out.
I love to research everything. My last boss was amazed at how much information I could find out about any topic she needed. I am also self taught with the majority of my skills. I went into my last job with no hospitality experience, was promoted to General Manager in 2 months, and generated over $40,000 of revenue in my first year. I was training the owner on the software that she had been using for 8 years. I don't do anything halfway. I simply don't know how. I am also extremely competitive, which consistently results in being #1 in sales, lead generation, and promotional registrations.
I am by no means a genius, however I am realizing that I was blessed with something that far to many people do not have, and that is common sense. If there is something that needs to be done, I figure out how to do it. I love a new challenge, because I am addicted to the feeling of solving a problem, or learning something new. This is why I have been promoted almost immediately at every establishment I have been employed. I have a drive that shines brighter than most.
