The job is not done until it is done right.

I have been an embedded system designer for over 25 years. I have created projects used for oceanographic research and LIDAR range finding. Before that, I was in the U.S Army working on weapons systems and avionics for attack helicopters. My proficencies include PCB layout (OrCAD, KiCAD, PCAD), firmware in Assembly and C/C++, and digital/analog circuit design. I am a senior member in the IEEE and have an Advanced amateur radio operators license as well as an FCC General Radio Telephone license with ship's radar endorsement.

Work Terms

Email is my preferred means of communication. Phone conversations can be arranged as needed. I check my email multiple times a day and can respond within 24 hours unless I am traveling.
