About

Recovery Coaching, Youth Drug Education, Motivational Speaking

In 2006 I became addicted to prescription painkillers following an illness. Within a year, I was a full blown heroin addict.

Today I coach the families of addicts like me who need direction in the wide world of addiction treatment and recovery. I also coach addicts themselves who need another layer of care on top of traditional treatment and professional counseling services.

My wealth of knowledge when it comes to different treatment strategies allows me to guide clients into the best treatment path for them. I also offer strategies to help move a resistant addict towards accepting treatment.

I also offer SCIENCE BASED youth drug education. The typical morality based methods are ineffective because morality is subjective. Science is factual, solid and non-negotiable. It is far more effective to present fact based education and allow kids to make educated choices rather than relying on "because I said so" as a deterrent.

Additionally, I speak publicly in several capacities. I provide drug education, and prevention tips for parents. I also tell my story of life as a misfit millennial, desperately trying to find my way in a world still hung up on our parent's expectations of what defines success. Millennials want more than a nine to five for their future. We want meaningful careers and life with a purpose. We want to make an impact. Finding out who you are and what matters to you is crucial in learning to walk the path that leads to your definition of success. My story is a cautionary tale that prompts young people to examine their life and dig deep to discover what gives their life meaning, and then figuring out how to parlay that into a career path.
