I have a B.A. in English and Writing from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. I have written many short stories, produced plays, short film scripts, and developed theme park shows. Some of my stories are published on Amazon.com.

I try to keep things light and fun. My comments will be pointed and direct, but usually involve humor. Remember, you can’t be too thin-skinned in this industry. Try reading the comments on any book on Amazon and you’ll see what I mean.

A few questions I always ask before I begin:

Is this your first novel?
What is the genre?
What is your position on pineapple on pizza?
Who is your intended audience?
What book would you like yours displayed next to in the bookstore?
Have you worked with an editor before?
If so, what did you like and not like about the experience?
Do you have a sense of humor?
Do you mind if I use mine?
A lot?
Are there vampires in this novel? (Not necessarily a deal breaker.)
If so, do they sparkle? (A deal breaker.)
How about Bigfoot? (This is a bonus.)

My editing rate is .01 per word, or $35 per hour.
My proofreading rate is .005 per word.
