Freelance Japanese translator
I am a Japanese native, grew up in Japan through college. I then lived in the US for 30 years including 20 years as an attorney. I have also been a professional freelance translator for the last two years.
I represent individual/corporate clients, mostly Japanese, in immigration matters submitting petitions/applications to the US Immigration Services, so my attorney-side experience includes extensive writing in formal/business context in both languages in addition to oral communication. I also enjoy being a translator as it involves different types of documents in different settings and it is very exciting.
I am a very uplifting and friendly person with positive outlook, which I believe is very important for the position, or in any life environment in general.
