I have both my undergraduate and graduate degree in political science and public administration with an emphasis in finance. Through both my education and through my work since graduating I have been able to gain the skills needed to do well in the freelance are also. I am well versed in polices and procedures, spending a portion of my job doing regulatory research, writing policy and policy interpretation at a university. I frequently am tasked with creating spreadsheets, pulling data from multiple sources, examining it and then compiling it into a report or presentation that is easy to understand for management. Additionally, I spend an enormous amount of time writing policy, creating policy and ensuring that we are complying with federal regulations as an institution. I also edit and review any other previous policy and procedure for both accuracy as well as readability and grammar. I have help jobs at law firms as a paralegal and office manager, doing a multitude of tasks.
I am an extremely hard worker with a keen eye for detail. I take pride in all of my work and always want to ensure the best possible outcome that I can. I enjoy working, and freelancing has given me another outlet to do things that I love and to learn more. I am eager to work on as many project as I can, and know that whoever hires me will not be let down.
In my free time I am an avid reader, photographer and cook. I love spending time outdoors with my dog and exploring as much of the world as possible.
Work Terms
I am able to work up to 25-30 hours per week, as long as they are flexible. I prefer e-mail communication and the occasional phone call if questions arise.
