I had a general enthusiasm for science and mathematics. By the end of my freshman year, I was most excited about physics. I studied physics for three years as an undergraduate, went to several short schools on various physics subfields, and self-studied through the pandemic. I had three research experiences in computational, experimental, and environmental physics; two were uncompleted, and one was successful. I have one semester of university teaching experience so far. Through all that, my excitement about physics narrowed down to a general interest in theoretical physics and data science.
I am a physicist by training, I have been trained intensively in problem-solving of highly complex problems, using mathematical, statistical, and computational techniques. I enjoyed the process of research as much as the physics itself. Now I am using the skill kit that I have to solve data-related problems and lead data-driven projects.
