English and spanish Language Solutions

I´m new to this world, currently working on my portfolio to gain experience in Translation. I have done only two works until now, which are shown in my portfolio. I hope you take in consideration the quality of the work more than a volume of previous experiences.
Though I do not have formal experience as an Interpreter, my background as a Receptionist in the Hotel Industry, in which I have worked for 3 years, gave me the challenge of securing a proper and effective communication in both English and Spanish with all the variety of accents that you can imagine. I know how to keep a fluent communication serving as a bridge for those who don´t share a common language.
As I have previously stated, I’m very new to this world, but I fully trust in my capabilities as bilingual individual, with strong skills in both verbal and written communication. Haven worked in two languages for over 3 years now, with complete efficiency. Given highly personalized bilingual customer service through Telephonic, Presential and Digital channels of communication.
I´m self-taught in the language, reaching an advanced level at 17 years old, only throughout pure immersion in English art, media and literature. I have a talent for languages, for treating with people, often in stressful situations or under pressure, and a passion and cultivated talent for writing, in my native tongue, Spanish, as well as in English.
I also possess great vocabulary in both languages, and as a passionate reader and writer, I can display a high understanding of the different tone and intentional meanings of various texts, from historical to technical ones. Throughout my years of college, I have learned how to properly research any topic, which I find an extremely relevant ability to achieve the quality and versatility you might require from your employees.
In the localization front, as a person who is multicultural in her origins and her life path (half Chilean and, half Argentinian, lived in those countries as well as Canada, Spain and Uruguay) I can assure you an expert level in the cultural aspects of the translation. I’m also very well verse about the general costumes and cultural nuances in Hispanic countries, North America, Australia and New Zealand, various European and Asian cultures, including, but not limited to: Persian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese and Korean cultures. As well as general Western European cultures and the Slavik and Nordic ones.
I´m also familiarized with colloquialisms and slangs in both languages so I can provide a service which ranges from the most informal, colloquial language to the most formal forms of expression. Understanding and adapting my skills to the needs of the texts or the interpreter’s employer requirements.
I´m fully aware that hiring me suppose a risk, but I can promise you I’ll work hard and carefully. I´m willing to take any evaluation of my abilities that you may find appropriate.

Work Terms

I charge 0.18 dollars per word in translation services, being able to deliver 4.000 words or about 10 pages of high quality translation within 24 hours.
