I worked as a customer service and credit-granting specialist for 5 years.
Being a customer service and credit-granting representative I do help customers with their billing inquiries, decline or approved transactions, make payments, change due dates, request credit line increase or decrease, update their profiles, process disputes, file fraud cases, assist with tracking their package through UPS, FedEx or USPS.
As a Customer Service and Credit Granting Specialist, I’m responsible for supervising, training & guiding call center agents in performing their duties. My main responsibilities also include providing support, submitting reports, doing follow-ups, and resolving problems and complaints via phone and e-mail.
I also worked from home as a Transfer Agent for a year. As a transfer agent, we do outbound calls and pre-qualify the leads for a debt consolidation program. I will be the one to talk to them first, sell our service, let them know why they need it, and gain their trust. Basically, I do the screening or filtering of leads. Once I gain their trust, that's the time that I'll connect them to a program specialist for more detailed information about the programs we offer.
I also became an administrative assistant for 10 months at a real estates management company where I assist homeowners with their inquiries whenever they call or email us about their bills, and information updates, provide them with payment options and route them to the property manager if an urgent matter and needed to be fixed in person.
Currently, I am a sales assistant in an eCommerce company where I help sales professionals manage their e-mails and schedule meetings.
Work Terms
Hours of work: 40 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
