I have lived my entire life within five miles of the Missouri River. My husband of 35 years and I have lived 33 of those years on a cattle and grain farm that has been consistently owned and operated by his family for five generations. We have two grown sons married to wonderful girls and two beautiful grandchildren.
A graduate of the Writer's Institute of America and a member of the Heartland Writers Guild, I have published a number of articles in various forums and magazines, and as a ghost writer, along with Dino, Godzilla and the Pigs (published by SoHo Press in 1993) the story of life as a young wife learning to work on the farm while raising two sons. I served as editor of the Heartland Journal (monthly newsletter of the Heartland Writers Guild) from 2004 thru 2015.
