I am a polymath who has worked in a variety of development sectors on local, regional and international levels. My work focus started off in education and moved to the development sector, particularly water, sanitation and hygiene issues in developing countries. A decade ago I started focusing more on international and European policy issues and particularly technical writing for projects operating under the EU directives.

I speak English and Afrikaans (mother tongue) and have advanced reading and understanding knowledge of Dutch and German. I can handle source documents in Dutch and German and I am an accomplished translator into English.

I am healthy, energetic and able to travel. I am a competent and positive inclusive team leader and a good team player. Project and programme management tasks fit very well within my competence base.

Work Terms

I am a freelancer and work 100-hour weeks so that I can avoid working 40-hour weeks for someone else.

I am a great team player and really good at what I do. I will be an asset to your company as my problem-solving skills are above average. I am energetic, healthy and fulfil my tasks with passion.
