• Over the last 7+ years, I have applied sophisticated CPG processes (see below) to the Direct to Consumer marketing channels of Direct Mail and Digital Marketing for both new and existing products and services.
– 14 of the 15 projects were successful, be they new or existing. For example, in terms of existing, SEM/SEO results increased by 25-50%.
– Online Market Categories covered were: DNA Testing (genealogy/skin care), Meal Delivery/Replacement Programs, Dietary Supplements, Wine Club, Prescription Discount Cards, Drones, Acne Remedies, among several others. All of these successes were done without prior knowledge within the respective category.
– The reason for the high success rate is that the process defines how the new positioning compares to the existing competitive frame and qualitatively/quantitatively defines the superiority of the new positioning in terms of Points of Difference, Key Claims and Unique Selling Proposition (USP). We call this Brand/Product Optimization.
