I write. I should do it for you.
I left England in 1999 to go live on a Greek island. As a freelance illustrator, I decided to write accounts of my new and unusual life and send them to editors so they wouldn't forget me. They proved so popular that some were accepted for publication and one of them won a creative non-fiction award (storyhouse.org, 2002). I began writing specifically for publication but decided that fiction is where my heart lies; fiction and creative non-fiction, where I can make true things even more...true.
After Greece I moved to France, and then America, and now Slovenia. I find that I prefer Europe and I felt happy when I landed in country where I understood not one word of the language.
I have written numerous works, only some of which I decided to publish on Amazon.
I think the goal of a ghostwriter is to find the real story behind the original words. Anyone can fix grammar and punctuation, but the key is to to be able to see what is really driving the story. Non-writers or those too close to the events often cannot see it. It takes a degree of creativity and a knack for storytelling to bring to the fore those elements that give the work human interest. Something to which we can all relate.
