I'm an entrepreneur and 3-time Inc5000 CEO. I got my start in business at the family dinner table. My dad was a serial small business entrepreneur. He owned barber shops and an auto salvage yard. My parents pushed me to get an education and so I did. I spent 7 years in the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Program. I followed that up with degrees in engineering and business.
I three-peated in the Inc5000 outside the family business after growing a cash-strapped company at 50% a year for 5 straight years. I've had other successes in corporate America too. I took a mid-pack business unit with 160 employees and raised it to Top 5 profitability in a year while competing against 42 other business units. I've written business plans and done valuation work for many other businesses along the way to define growth paths or prepare businesses for sale.
