You had an idea, a thought, a revelation... and now you want to bring it to life. But where do you start? That's where I come in.
We all have ideas. Sometimes they manifest into celebrated pieces of art or publications. Other times they dissipate into the hall closet of our hyperactive minds. It's hard create something from your ideas because beside skill, they require a precious commodity that cannot be placed in value: time. Time is the reason you never got to finish that great idea you had for a podcast. Time is the reason you never got a chance to research the intricte process of publishing your first children's book. That's where I come in. My creative writing and editing skills started in middle school; when teachers would often ciritize me of plagiarism due to the advanced level of my writing and punctuation (positive reinforcement wasn't yet a thing in the 90s). I had a 6th grade teacher ask me to stay after class one day only make me promise her that I would never stop writing. I never forgot that request, nor that promise. Since then, I have gotten my masters in Television and Film writing and have written over a dozen short films, narratives, features, and award winning essays. Don't let the daunting idea of writing deter you from what you want to achieve. Sometimes, all you need is a little boost.
