About

Professional Editor

Hello!

I'm a professional editor from the UK with six years of experience within the publishing industry. I'm also an agented, published author of erotic fiction and thrillers/suspense.

I started out editing for friends after I gained my BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature, went on to intern at Entangled Publishing (one of the biggest independent publishing houses), and then became managing editor of my own fiction imprint at Etopia Press. I've professionally edited over fifty novels, and have provided editorial/slush feedback on over a hundred more.

I focus on developmental editing, particularly for contemporary romance, erotica, new adult and young adult fiction. Today, I freelance for a number of best-selling authors, as well as mentoring and coaching newer authors through their projects-in-progress. If you've ever put your head in your hands and wondered what the hell you're going to do next with this pain-in-the-butt manuscript, don't worry--we can figure it out together.

My own work has been nominated for an RT Reviewer's Choice award, hit bestseller lists at Amazon US and topped the iTunes UK paid fiction chart.

I have a strong knowledge of the current market, including genre trends, e-publishing and social media. I help authors to polish their work whether they're planning to submit to agents and editors, or hoping to self-publish.

Though I'm based in the UK, I often work with US-based clients and am used to working with Eastern Standard Time. I regularly work with US and UK English.

Work Terms
