I am a 3D artist with exceptional animation, modelling, rigging, lighting, and compositing skills. I strive for perfection with the highest level of polish executed efficiently.
My name is Richard and I am a graduate (May 2016) of the esteemed Ringling College of Art and Design where I studied Computer Animation. Through this program I have become highly proficient in the entire pipeline of animation -- from conceptualization and design to storyboarding to the complete 3D process (modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering -- even cloth simulation).
All of this was utilized during the culmination of my studies -- my senior thesis animated short film "The Bookworm." It was selected by the computer animation faculty to be a 2016 Best of Ringling senior film (1 of 12 selected out of a pool of ~45 films). Other selections include the 2016 Gold Coast International Film Festival and the June 2016 Miami Independant Film Festival.
Before I studied at Ringling I worked at a midsized regional bank in Houston, TX for 4 years. Prior to that I studied Economics and History at the University of Kansas.
