Over my career as a copywriter and creative director, I have created results-oriented, award-winning advertising and marketing materials for a remarkable range of clients -- business to business, consumer, industrial, financial, governmental, healthcare, educational, and community organizations.
I have also routinely supervised radio and television commercial production for many of these clients. In addition, I have edited and proofread copy on a daily basis since the inception of my career, including editing and proofreading an entire doctoral dissertation on the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway. I have also written copy for a number of websites.
In my first position for a regional arts council and intermittently over the years, I have also written a variety of public relations materials including press releases and other press kit elements.
Hobbies? Harmonica playing, ship model construction, reading, scootering and local history.
Anecdotes: In 1996 I took a 10-day cruise to the site of the Titanic shipwreck in the middle of the North Atlantic. I met people who had actually survived the tragedy, and astronaut and moon walker Buzz Aldrin.
