I solve your business problems in general management, business start up, people management and e-learning.
My career is best described by the one page graphic I have attached.
I have been active on the Web since the mid 1990's. Google Roelf Woldring and you will find out more about me than you want to know.
I am new on Guru. Since I do not have an established reputation here yet, I can provide connections to references.
After a career as an active IT leader, turnaround general manager, and senior organizational change consultant, I now solve problems for clients, no matter where they are located. That is the marvel of the Internet.
I am experienced. I am active. I am innovative. I like producing results for clients that propel them onto greater success - whether that is in the for-profit or not-for-profit spheres.
I also write and e-publish regularly. To day, I have given most of this away on the Internet. I will now shift this to be more compensated oriented. My writing is available my personal web site, through Linked In Posts, and through the e-learning content I contribute to www.knowthatknowhowknowwhy.com (or www.ktkhkw.com for short and www.roelfwoldring.com).
Work Terms
I work on the Internet and through telecommunications. I use Skype, the phone, platforms like GoToMeeting and DropBox.
I am always concerned about security, and have run virtual team projects where every document exchanged electronically was password encrypted, with the password themselves never being communicated on the Internet.
As a former executive hiring consultants and trouble shooters, I know that you need clear boundaries with working with freelances. I like clear sun rise and sun set terms in the work that I do for clients. Whenever it is possible to do fixed cost, I do so. But not all problems can be handled in that way. When this is the case, I use time caps to make sure that you know your financial exposure for my services.
Money counts, so I charge a basic hourly fee that reflects my experience and the nature of the work that I do. Consider it the beginning of a negotiation.
The nature of your project, the results that you want to achieve are of importance to me in selecting assignments. In my experience, what you pay me is directly related to how seriously you take my work for you. I take your current business situation into account, and the value of the problem that I am solving, into account during our negotiation. My goal is always to deliver value to you that far exceeds what you pay me.
I have outlined the approach that I use previously.
I fully understand the need for constant progress and clear confidentiality on assignments. I work to those needs.
I am highly computer literate, and well versed on tools like Office and others.
