Following my Wharton MBA, I worked at Ernst & Young for 6 years as a Senior Manager in Singapore and Washington, DC. Since leaving EY I have focused on US government contracting at IT, aerospace, and other technology-based companies; nonprofits; and international development. Although these organizations differ widely, the common thread running through them is compliance with government protocols including Federal Acquisition Regulations, Cost Accounting Standards, pricing and contract/grant management, mandated reporting, and audit.

I live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C., with my wife and our standard poodle.
Work Terms
I am available at hours between 08:00 and 18:00 US Eastern time, subject to prior commitments. Work on weekends and U.S. holidays is by arrangement.
For each engagement I offer a 1-hour initial introductory and scoping discussion via phone or Skype at no fee. A written agreement must be in place prior to the start of billable work.
FEES: My fee is $175/hour for the first 40 hours of an engagement, $150/hour for the next 120 hours, and $125/hour thereafter. I request an up-front commitment fee equal to the lesser of $7,000 or 30% of total expected fees.
EXPENSES: Travel and other out-of-pocket expenses, if any, will be subject to the client’s advance approval and billed at cost.
BILLING AND PAYMENT: After the up-front commitment fee, fees and expenses will be billed and payable weekly as incurred.
