Tom Levers earned his BA and an MBA in marketing.
Tom's long history in the Software and Technology sector was built on the foundation of Product Marketing at Kraft Foods. Tom was enticed by the technology industry to apply his Marketing / Business Development skills to the software and professional services industry after developing the Specialty Foods marketplace.
Developing in-depth knowledge of tech and marketing in business, Tom as VP of sales and marketing started Promark Software Testing (the leader in Y2K software) and sold it to Compuware. Similarly, Tom was recruited to start a product and management consulting services business at Tech Mahindra/Satyam. The result was a global solution for the largest enterprises, such as Caterpillar, General Electric, and Amazon to implement the Six Sigma methodology across their organizations. At Business Layers, a Canaan Partners venture-backed company, Tom built a partner initiative that was key to its sale to Computer Associates. At Xandros, he pioneered digital marketing and implemented marketing systems for both the Linux Operating System and Microsoft System Center software markets.
Tom continued to innovate by creating ProfitOutDo, applying marketing touchpoints for this SaaS AI start-up (one of the few Gartner Predictive AI-designed vendors) for the Convenience Retail Store. At ProfitOutDo his Digital creative strategies for Online Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Email, Text, Events, and Digital PR resulted in significant improvement in positioning, sales, and value.
After ProfitOutDo's acquisition, DigitalLevers was created (www.DigitalLeves.com).
Now Tom is a global traveler, yet consistently provides marketing services to the technology organization.
