Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and driven Marketing Specialist to lead and manage our multi-channel marketing campaigns targeting lapsed customers. The role will involve overseeing the full campaign lifecycle, from initial bulk emails to automated anniversary reminders, using MailerLite for email automation, ControlHippo for WhatsApp messaging, and Twilio for SMS campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for campaign setup, execution, optimization, and reporting.

You will also be responsible for A/B testing landing pages, validating customer data, and ensuring a seamless experience across all marketing touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:1. Multi-Channel Campaign Management

  • Email Campaigns (MailerLite):

    • Design, set up, and launch targeted email campaigns to win back lapsed customers with special offers and promotions.
    • Implement and manage date-based email automations for renewal reminders (2 months, 1 month, and 1 week before expiry).
    • Segment customer data and create tailored email content to increase engagement and conversions.
    • A/B test subject lines, email copy, and CTAs to continually improve open and click rates.
  • WhatsApp Campaigns (ControlHippo):

    • Set up and execute WhatsApp messaging campaigns for lapsed customers, leveraging ControlHippo.
    • Create personalized message templates for initial bulk outreach and anniversary reminders.
    • Monitor WhatsApp campaign performance and adjust strategy for optimal engagement.
  • SMS Campaigns (Twilio):

    • Set up and manage SMS campaigns via Twilio for customers who have phone numbers, aligning them with email and WhatsApp outreach.
    • Design SMS messages with compelling CTAs to drive user action.
    • Ensure timely delivery of SMS reminders in line with expiry dates.

2. A/B Testing and Landing Page Optimization

  • Landing Page Creation:
    • Create and optimize landing pages for promotions, special offers, and renewal offers, ensuring they are aligned with email, WhatsApp, and SMS messaging.
  • A/B Testing:
    • Lead A/B testing of landing page designs, CTAs, copy, and user flows.
    • Monitor and analyze performance of each version, identifying the highest-performing landing page for each campaign.
    • Implement findings to continuously improve conversion rates.

3. Data Management and Validation

  • Data Cleanliness:

    • Manage customer data and ensure accuracy before campaign execution.
    • Sanity-check email addresses and phone numbers to remove invalid contacts and ensure deliverability.
    • Use list-cleaning tools to validate email addresses and phone numbers before uploading them to MailerLite, ControlHippo, and Twilio.
  • Segmentation and Personalization:

    • Segment the contact list effectively to ensure relevant messaging for different customer groups.
    • Use personalization tactics to increase engagement, such as using first names and tailoring offers based on previous activity.

4. Reporting and Performance Optimization

  • Campaign Monitoring:
    • Track performance metrics across all channels (email, WhatsApp, SMS) including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and bounce rates.
    • Generate regular reports to assess campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Data-Driven Optimization:
    • Use campaign data to refine and optimize messaging strategies, sending times, and channels.
    • Provide recommendations for improving future campaigns based on insights from performance metrics.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Email Marketing Experience:

    • Proficient in using MailerLite (or similar email marketing platforms) for creating and automating email campaigns.
    • Experience with setting up and managing email automations, such as welcome series, anniversary reminders, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • WhatsApp and SMS Campaigns:

    • Hands-on experience with ControlHippo (or similar WhatsApp marketing tools) and Twilio for SMS marketing.
    • Understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies and how to create cohesive campaigns across email, WhatsApp, and SMS.
  • Landing Page and A/B Testing Expertise:

    • Proven ability to design and optimize landing pages to drive conversions.
    • Experience with A/B testing tools and methodologies to continually improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Data Management:

    • Strong attention to detail and experience in managing and cleaning customer data to ensure accuracy and high-quality contact lists.
  • Analytical Skills:

    • Ability to analyze campaign data and generate actionable insights.
    • Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Strong Communication Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy for emails, WhatsApp messages, and SMS campaigns.
