Coexisting With Bugs

My master's thesis portfolio from Miami University's Project Dragonfly, Advanced Inquiry Program. I combined my undergraduate studies in psychology with my master's studies of conservation biology to explain why so many humans fear bugs, how that fear negatively impacts global conservation efforts, and what to do about it. The portfolio is written in a way that general audiences can understand, with links to my original academic writing on each subject for those interested in the hard science. This thesis work prepared me for a career in research and science writing for both academic and general audiences.
