Tier 2: Professional Academic Proofreading, Editing, Formatting, and Fact-checking

If you need proofreading, editing, formatting, and fact-checking for academic or professional documents, this service tier is the one for you. In graduate school, I was my classmates' first choice as a peer reviewer due to my reputation for mastery of the English language and close attention to detail. I have my MA in biology and am a science communicator by training, which makes me uniquely qualified to help science writers (both academic and editorial) communicate dense scientific topics to a variety of audiences.

While I'm tough on typos, I'm kind to the humans who make them; I understand that not everyone has been given the opportunity to develop their writing skills to a professional level, and I will work with clients at any writing level to help them create the writing and content they need.

This service includes all the basic proofreading and editing of my Tier 1 services, plus:

• Fact-checking scientific topics (any of the sciences, including medical science)
• Formatting according to the APA writing style guide (can format according to other writing style guides for an additional fee)
• Editing for word choice and flow appropriate for professional and academic publications
• Formatting and editing according to the standards of a specific publication or institution
