Job Title: Translation Project Manager

Compensation: $2,000 for 100 hours

The Role You’ll Play:
As our freelance Translation Project Manager, you’ll coordinate with translators to ensure timely, accurate project delivery. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, allowing you to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with various teams. You’ll oversee the translation process from start to finish, monitoring quality, managing deadlines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for translation projects, coordinating with linguists, designers, engineers, and other team members.
- Take full ownership of project execution from quote preparation to final delivery.
- Collaborate with our Customer Success Managers to ensure a smooth translation experience for clients.
- Utilize our language management software to oversee workflows and project status.
- Set up new client profiles, handle invoicing processes, and maintain platform organization.
- Regularly update clients on project status, managing feedback and adjustments.
- Provide proactive support for daily project needs, while ensuring adherence to quality and timeline standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in Translation or Localization Project Management.
- Skills: Proficiency in translation software tools like SDL Studio (Trados), MemoQ, or similar. Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: You’re organized, accurate, and can handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer Focused: You take a concierge-level approach to client relationships, anticipating needs and handling feedback professionally.
- Team Player: You’re collaborative, reliable, and prioritize team goals.
- Flexible: You can adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Additional language skills beyond English.
- Previous experience working in a remote, global environment.
